The client is a boutique manufacturer of select components which are used in Concrete Block machines across the construction sector. Their objective was to conduct an extensive market survey of the Indian market to identify the market readiness of their products across different customer types.
BGBS executed this project in collaboration with our partners. Our work included extensive interviews with industry participants from machine manufacturers, similar component manufacturers, end users and market watchers to understand the favorability of the Indian market to a new entrant. The final recommendation involved waiting to enter the market in the current form due to the presence of several cheaper, domestic alternatives and the reluctance of customers in India to migrate to higher priced imported variants.
